1 Product or Service

When you consider the idea of opening an online store, you’re very first thought should be the products or service your eCommerce site will sell. This is all up to you, and it would be best if you were knowledgeable about the industry you’re entering. Determining the perfect product to sell will be accompanied by thorough market research as well as researching your competitors.

2 Get a Website

Once you’ve established what you’ll be selling, you’ll have to start developing your website. Your website is practically your storefront and will generate most if not all your business sales. You can easily design, edit and launch a website on the state-of-the-art software referred to as WordPress. Many web developers use this platform to build and develop websites for clients and themselves. Using WordPress, you also have access to thousands of free plugins to ensure your website performs at its optimal.

3 Blockchain

Measuring and tracking your business finances, online analytics, sales, and website traffic should be one of your main priorities. By doing this, you’ll enable yourself to learn and adapt to new market trends and niches. Have a look at My Blockchain Life to better understand your customers. The better you understand them the better your marketing strategies will become. It will also allow you to look back and see how your business grew from strength to strength.

4 Marketing

When you start marketing your online platform, you should understand, your marketing will be make or break for your business. You’re probably competing with larger, more sustainable companies, which means you have to find a way to stand out. Most online platforms use the means of SEO and Google Ads to market their businesses. Search engine optimization increases the quality and quantity of web traffic with keywords and phrases by utilizing generic Google search results. On the other hand, Google ads is a platform where you bid for keywords against competitors for the top placements on Google’s search results. Both of these forms are effective, but SEO should be more of a long-term strategy, whereas Google ads produce instant results, but at a much higher price.

Whatever product you sell or service you offer, you should also ensure your customer service is of the highest standards and that you build up positive reviews on your social media pages. The way people shop is drastically changing; open your online shop to take advantage of this shift.
