The Positives
The positives of moving home will far out weight the negatives, we always believe. As long as the timing is right for you and you're passionate about moving, the negatives can always be battled through. One of the big positives at the minute is that there are so many great houses on the market, and you can click here to see some of them. The real estate market has opened up due to the boom of new builds that were constructed before the pandemic, and are now being constructed once more. There's also the positive of that fresh start that you're no doubt looking for. Being settled in a new home is so refreshing! There might also be a financial benefit for you. Perhaps it's closer to work so you don't have to commute as far, living costs might be smaller, the mortgage might be better. Those are just a few general positives, there will be more linking to your personal needs and requirements. If you know you're so passionate about wanting to move home then you should go for it!
The Negatives
There are always going to be negatives and it wouldn't be fair for us not to mention a few. The first is obviously that the pandemic has influenced the fall in house sales because buyers are pulling out due to perhaps losing their job, or just being uncertain as to what might happen. There's also the financial negative for you if this applies to you. House prices are also expected to rise before they fall which means that moving home within the next few months might be more expensive than it would be this time next year, however it can be hard to judge which way the market is going to go. But most of the time, the positives will always outweigh the negatives.
So, we hope this gets you thinking about some of the positives and negatives of your own situation, and overall how a house move is going to change your life, and if it's not for the better then you know a move is not right for you at the minute.
