If you have been homeschooling for several years, as I have, you tend to want some fresh ideas when it comes to the subject of Art. With Sparketh art classes for kids, you will!

Sparketh Art Classes For Kids
One way to introduce fresh ideas is to have a new teacher. Now, I am not saying you need to take your child to a new teacher. In fact, you can have new Art teachers brought into your home through watching online pre-recorded videos with Sparketh.
Sparketh is an online program that gives you access to 1,000+ art video lessons that is geared to ages 6 to 18. There are so many different Art teachers and new ideas – you could use it for all of your homeschool years.
Drawing For Kids
My children, Miranda and Mason, both enjoy drawing. I was so happy to see that there are so many classes that teach drawing for kids. They noticed that they can do some holiday related drawings like make a Valentine's Day card, do a Mother's Day drawing, and draw a simple turkey for Thanksgiving.
Miranda really enjoys using colored pencils to draw with and there are some classes on mixing with colored pencils and basic colored pencils techniques so she can improve.
Mason prefers to draw with a pencil. He noticed there is a class on how to draw a fish. He has a pet fish that he wants to draw, so he is happy to have this as a guide to be able to achieve his goal.
My older daughter, Marissa, has had some of her art featured in a toy building manual so my younger kids know if they learn more and apply it their art can really go far!

Material Lists With Each Video
When you click into each video you are considering with Sparketh, on the preview page, you can scroll down and see a materials list to see if you have anything or if you need to run to the store before viewing.
Each Video Is In Sections
On the preview page of a video, you can see that the video is sectioned. This makes it easier if you need to put the project away and get back to it later. For example, if you were painting a landscape and you were on the “sky” section, when you come back, you can click into that section and not have to re-watch the video or try to forward it to where you were. Though, you can still use those methods if you prefer to.
Submit Your Art For Others To View
When you complete your work, you can submit your art for others to view. This is completely optional and not required. You can also view other people's art. I do think it is helpful to view others' art as you can see that there can be variations and helps you to make your own art unique.
