iced tea and cake on table 4 Luxury Additions That Every Family Home Needs

Home is where the heart is, so everybody says. It means that no matter what happens or where you are, your home is where your feet will always take you. Seeing as your home is such an important place, it should look as important as you feel about it. It should be a palace, a castle…or just a normal family home but with a few luxuries dotted around here and there!

A family home isn’t somewhere that most consider a place to have luxuries – with children running around, glass items and trinkets are rather an impossibility. However, that doesn’t mean you cannot have a home full of beauty.

[ctt template=”4″ link=”Rtej4″ via=”yes” ]Your family home can be a home full of beauty with a few luxury additions dotted around here and there! Here are four that, in my opinion, every family home needs.[/ctt]

Before you had children in the home with you, you probably had interior design dreams that included items that went beyond the usual. A family doesn’t mean you have to give up those dreams! We’ve got four luxury item ideas that you will absolutely love for your home. If you already have them, you’re halfway there!

Built-In Ice Buckets. You may not have heard of these, but when your children start to get older and you can start hosting more parties for friends and family, a built-in ice bucket becomes a necessity rather than just a wish! If you still want one in the meantime, think about how cool those summer smoothies could be just by having one of these in the kitchen!

Trane home air conditioning system

Air Conditioning. Believe it or not, air conditioning isn’t in every single home. To keep comfortably cool on a hot day, and still have the ability to heat the home the rest of the time is a wonderful thing to have. Getting StuartProAir.com or similar to install a good air conditioning unit through your entire home should be on your priority list. There’s no reason to sweat it out through the summer if you’re able to afford to get central air installed.

Smeg Refrigerator. If you are all about your kitchen, then appliances are going to be on the top of your list of things to buy for your home. This limited edition Smeg refrigerator is a total statement piece, and as it’s Dolce and Gabbana, you just know you’re getting quality. These are painted by hand by Sicilian artists in celebration of Italian craftsmanship. Not only are you supporting those artists, but you are adding a talking point to your kitchen and a little luxury to the overall look of the home.

living room with a hidden tv that converts to a mirror when shut off

Hidden TV. There’s nothing more vulgar for some people than seeing a huge TV sitting in the midst of modern décor. So, designers have come up with this amazing LED TV that also doubles as a mirror. It’s not on the cheap side, but it is a beautiful way to create the illusion of a modern and light room, while still having that entertainment in the space you create.

Adding luxury to your home doesn’t have to wait until the children grow up and move out, so don’t put your interior design dreams on hold.
