Blogging
Affiliate Marketing Networks I use – FlexOffers, Awin, Shareasale, Impact Radius (Do NOT use Rakuten. They still owe me money. They are out of Brazil, I am in the United States – their laws must be different than ours.) My favorites are Awin and Impact Radius because they pay at a low amount, even $20 – which is great when you are starting out. With others, you may have to wait until your balance is at $50 or $100 before receiving a payout.
Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers Course – This is one of the affiliate marketing courses that I took. It's very good and teaches you how to make highlight boxes plus many more great tips, including email affiliate marketing tips.
Amazon Influencer Page of NeededInTheHome – Look for the Blogging section to see what I recommend from Amazon.
Balancing Diapers and Deadlines eBook – This book was written by a large family mom freelancer blogger. It really helped me with some ideas in how to manage my 2 blogs, 2 Etsy shops, homeschooling and homemaking with my own seven children.
Blog Planner – You need to be organized and have a good planner if you are a blogger. Especially if you don't have a lot of time in the day for blogging in the first place. This planner will help you maximize every minute. This is a printable blog planner from Adventures in Blogging. What I like is that I can print the pages I need from it and not waste printer ink on the ones I don't think I would use.
Blog Traffic Bootcamp – An eBook to bring more traffic to your blog. Don't worry about how much money you spend on education with a blog. You can probably (depending on where you live and your tax laws) write it off and even if you can't, education is how you can work your blog to make it do well so that you earn enough to pay back what you spent. Even if you are not in this for the money; how will you continue to pay for your blog unless your blog pays for itself? I myself only get out of bed at 4:30 or 5:00 a.m. to work on this blog for the money. I do love to teach and help people, but I can do those things without a blog. My blog makes money and reaches thousands of people with my message. But it would not have reached so many if it had not been for all this education. I needed other bloggers to teach me what to do and I was willing to pay for it. Then, all that money came back and more within three months of blogging. Now I feel like it was FREE!
Bluehost – This web host company is the reason I have a blog. I have never had any issues with them and highly recommend them if you are thinking of starting a blog. Plus you get a FREE domain when you sign up for the 12 month basic plan. I now use WHPlanet, for the speed – since my blog has grown so much since 2017.
Canva – This is what I use for all my graphics, Pinterest pics, many of my photos, sewing tutorial cover pictures, covers for my eBooks, etc. I use it every day that I work and I do the paid version. It is so easy to use and I absolutely love it!
ConvertKit – I have been using this company since April 2018 and I love them! Well worth the money and good people work there. It is so easy to keep track link clicks, how many people open my emails, etc. I can easily see what works and what doesn't in my email marketing.
Cracking the Code on the Amazon Associate's Program – This book has some great tips on how to market affiliate links on your posts with the Amazon Associate's Program. It also teaches how to make a highlighted box.
Demystifying SEO – This is a great eBook. It has close to 400 pages with everything you need to know about SEO to help your blog or website perform well on Google Search, etc. I seriously read every single word on every single page and applied what was mentioned and it really changed my blog for the better. You could just use it as a reference book and look up what you need as well.
Easy On Page SEO (for beginners) and Easy Backlinks for SEO are great books that help you to increase your Domain Authority to get your posts up higher on Google Search Results. I highly recommend them.
Ebook Creation Guide – I bet you know enough stuff to write your own eBook! Seriously, it is not that hard. My husband and I wrote an eBook together. You can too!
Email Company I use – ConvertKit – I have been using this company since April 2018 and I love them! Well worth the money and good people work there. It is so easy to keep track link clicks, how many people open my emails, etc. I can easily see what works and what doesn't in my email marketing.
Fiverr – There are people to hire as a virtual helpers to help you with making Pinterest pins, writing content, posting on social media and more.
FREE Blog Traffic Bonus Guide – Not everything I learned from cost money. The free information is great too! Are you wondering when I get time to read all this stuff? I am a fast reader and love to read. I read my Bible to myself in the morning and night, and to other family members during the homeschool day and at night as part of the bedtime routine. I read to the children in homeschool during the day. I read every night before I fall asleep in bed. Sometimes when I am really tired, I only read a few pages! I always cut myself off at a certain time so I can get enough sleep. Even though my blog has paid for itself and is bringing in a steady income, I am still reading and learning this business. There is so much to read and learn out there and I want everyone's opinion so I can try new things and see if I like it or not.
HostGator – Another great hosting company. I know other bloggers who use this and love it.
How To Start A Blog or Website – A FREE, over 2,500 word, in-depth article of all the steps to take to set up a blog, monetize it and promote it.
How To Successfully Organize A Blog With Multiple Topics – My biggest problem when I started blogging is that I had all these topics I wanted to write about, but all the blogging education I was reading was telling me, you have to have a “niche”. Which made me feel like I could only talk about one thing! This eBook was a game changer! You can have more than one topic as long as your audience is the same. Don't be offended if you are not this, but my primary reader is a stay at home mom. That's the largest percentage so I write for a mom who is needed in the home. I do have some men that like to read the Buying Abandoned Storage Units section, but I am talking about the largest percentage. This eBook explains in full detail how to organize it on your site to make it easier for your readers to find.
How I Became Friends With 100+ Popular Bloggers In One Year– This eBook is a quick read and a great value for the price. Simon's creative thinking when it comes to networking just can't be beat. There are some ideas that most people do not think of. Yet after you learn the method, it makes perfect sense and you think, now why didn't I think of that, it's so simple and yet I missed it! He applies this to bloggers, but I think this could be applied in other business situations as well. My favorite idea is saving the blogger time with the links idea. You will have to read that section to see what I mean. I would love to have someone save me time in that way and it would create a great impression in my mind.
Income And Traffic Boost Bundle – You get the Income Boost eBook and Traffic Transformation Guide in one bundle price to help you grow your blog.
Income Boost – An eBook that gives tips on how to monetize your blog.
Legal Courses, Templates, Bundles – You can find GDPR, CCPA, ADA, Accessibility, Affiliate disclosures, Privacy Policies, Disclosures, etc. here.
Making Sense Of Affiliate Marketing – I took this course and it has since paid for itself with the money I have made in affiliate marketing. This is the best way to earn passive income when blogging. You just put links in your post and when people click on them, even years from now, you get paid. It's as simple as that!
Master Pinterest Keywords Tracking Spreadsheet + Training Video – Pinterest works just like a search engine so you need to use keywords to get your posts seen. This video and spreadsheet helps you to do that.
Pinterest Launch Plan – I love that the author, gives step by step instructions to follow three times a day on a daily basis. I started this after my numbers on Pinterest had dropped off due to me not spending time with it as I spent the previous three months moving, having a new baby and getting unpacked. It really works!
Pinteresting Strategies – This course gives strategies for how to write your posts and do your photos better for Pinterest and how to get them seen on Pinterest. It gives the author's strategy that got her to 100,000 pageviews/month in less than three months to get accepted on Adthrive and now she is getting over 300,000 pageviews a month in Pinterest traffic. I really love her teaching style. Very down to earth and easy to understand.
Pinterest Group Board Master – This has a list of lots of Pinterest group boards you can apply to and a template for how to ask.
Pinterest Made Easy – This eBook gives you a proven strategy of what to do from the moment you have a new pin to get it out on Pinterest to maximize your viewings. This strategy helped the authors' get to 30,000+ pageviews per month.
Pinterest Marketing Strategist (my Pinterest Team) – I have realized I am letting social media fall behind. I just “can't do it all”. I absolutely love that they are doing just about everything for me. After I create a new post, all I have to do now is pin it one time to my NeededInTheHome blog board on Pinterest and my team does the rest. They schedule pins and hand pin on relevant boards, even finding new group boards for me, they follow influencers, put everything on spreadsheets for me and give me all the details and analytics. They do so much! I feel like what I am getting is a great value! There are different levels and choices so you can choose what you want them to do. I am not on the lowest or the highest.

StudioPress – This is the company I use to have my Genesis Framework and theme layout for my blog. It's what makes my website look good and makes my job easier so I don't have to write the code, maintain, and update it.
Traffic Transformation Guide – An eBook to teach you how to bring traffic to your site. Growing your blog is all about the traffic that comes to your site to read it and making money is from the “law of averages”. Meaning that the more people that come to your blog, the more of a percentage will click on your links and buy, so the more you get paid. This book teaches about many social media platforms and how to leverage yourself to get the best traffic to your site in a quick fashion. I said to myself, “why wait and do it slowly when I can be making money to pay back what I spent on my blog?”. I paid back what I owed in less than three months and I spent over $1,000 on my blog, including the training or blog education materials.
WHPlanet Blog Hosting – This is who I currently use as a blog host. I have been blogging since 2017, I have over 1,000 articles on my blog and lots of readers. I needed a company that could handle all of that and still have my blog give readers a speedy experience. They do a great job of that.

Walmart – You can get photos printed or made into books or a plate to hang on your wall. My daughter made a cat plate for me of a photo of my cat Callie.
Sewing
Amazon Influencer Page of NeededInTheHome – Look for the DIY, Craft, Sewing and Art and Staying Organized sections to see what I recommend.
Fabric Cobbler on Etsy – This is my favorite Etsy seller that sells great prints I can't find in local stores, like a minecraft-like print, for example.
Sewing Tutorials on Etsy – These are sewing tutorials that I have created and are printable instructions for sale on Etsy.
Walmart – fabric, sewing essentials and more.
Shoes
Walmart – My favorite place to shop, fast shipping too!
Storage Auction Business Items
You can also read my article, “What Do I Bring With Me To Storage Auctions?” for more ideas, like a “moving buddy”, for example.
Abus Diskus locks and keys – Get one for each unit you plan to win, we have about six and have used them all at one time when my husband was between day jobs. These are on Amazon.
Baby Wipes – We live in Wisconsin and buy storage units in very cold, freezing weather. The hand sanitizer will freeze solid, but a single baby wipe can still be peeled apart from the pack and thawed with the warmth of your hand to use for hand washing after touching dirty items in a unit or before eating lunch on the road in a caravan auction, from Amazon.
Broom – To sweep out the unit after emptying it, from Amazon.
Cell Phone With Camera – This is very useful to have, from Amazon.
Garbage Bags – We have found garbage in every unit, get quality garbage bags so you don't have to pick it up twice, from Amazon.
Hand Warmers – These can be used in your pockets to keep warm during a winter auction, from Amazon.
Hand Sanitizer – These are to wash your hands, there is no sink at the storage facility, from Amazon.
Maglite Heavy Duty Flashlight – This is our favorite flashlight to take to the auction, from Amazon.
Making Money Buying Abandoned Storage Units – An eBook that tells you everything you need to know to do this business. This book was written by my husband and I. It tells you how to find the auctions, how to budget before going to the auction, what to bring with you, auction etiquette, what to do with each type of item to get the best money back from resale, etc.
Rubber Gloves – Every unit has at least some yucky garbage, from Amazon.
ShelterLogic Storage Tent – If you live in a place where you can have one (or three, like we do!), these are amazing storage tents! Ours has survived three harsh, snowy, frozen winters and wind (we put sandbags in the corners in case the tent pegs break free in heavy wind, we live on top of a hill) so far and are still in great shape! From Amazon
Tmart/FASTBUY INC – They have all kinds of items like flashlights, furniture moving belt team straps (for two people to easily move a large appliance like a dryer or washing machine, for example), metric tape / tape measure / measuring tape.
Wallet – “Don't forget to pay the lady!” and they usually want cash. These are some from Amazon.
Walmart – This is our favorite store to find what we need for the auction as well as a snack!
Toys
Amazon Influencer Page of NeededInTheHome – Look for the Staying Organized, Cleaning, Elementary, Middle and High School sections to see what I recommend.
diecastmodelswholesale – lots of die cast vehicles – cars, firetrucks, etc.
Fat Brain Toys – puzzles, brainteasers, toy houses, etc.
paperpie – is where I buy books, puzzles, Learning Wrap Ups and SmartLab Toys.
Tmart/FASTBUY INC – There are organizers for toys like the Tidy Up Toy Storage bag (a large cloth bag you lay flat on the floor like a big circle with all the Lego Duplos in the middle, for example, when play is done you just tie up the whole bag so you don’t have to pick up individual pieces, amazing!), fidget spinners, magnetic toys, bath toys, wooden toys, puzzles, stuffed animals, night lights, etc.
Walmart – My favorite place to shop, fast shipping too!
Vacation
Amazon Influencer Page of NeededInTheHome – Look for the Family Vacation Necessities section to see what I recommend.
Legoland Discovery Center – Our kids of all ages (including adult child) love Legos! Our family loves to go to the Chicago location as that is closest to us. When you click the bolded word to see prices or get tickets, it will say Chicago on the screen, but you can change the location in the upper right corner to a Center closer to you. Read my post about what's playing in the 4D theater here.
Walmart – some locations even have swim suits, beach towels and sunscreen all year! But if not, just order it on their website through this handy link.
