My son Maris gave a product review on the following BornTough gym workout clothes: Men Core Fit SS Shirt and Cargo Liner Shorts. Check out all the details in this article.

Product Review of BornTough Gym Workout Clothes

Maris is in the process of bodybuilding. He works out nearly everyday and needs quality workout clothes that can perform and not get in his way of achieving his long-term goals. He was sent the following items for review:

BornTough Men Core Fit SS Shirt
BornTough Air Pro Men 5″ Cargo Liner Shorts

The following quotes are Maris' words about the products…

The Fit

“They felt great and fit well together. They are very flexible and easy to move in.”

The Performance

“These are comfortable and good for either heavy or light sessions.”

The Look

“I like the design, it looks cool.”

The Pockets

“It has convenient pockets that don't get in the way when lifting. The pocket in the compression shorts keeps your smartphone safe.”

Mom's Opinion

I am Amy, the owner and writer of this lifestyle blog. My son Maris is more of an “action taker” than a man of many words, so I will add a few more.  Maris is about 6'1″ and has a 38″ waist. He is wearing size XL. To wash these items, the care instructions say, “Wash regular with like clothes. Low Iron. Do not dry clean.” I was concerned the black would bleed into the white compression shorts, but that has not happened. The easy care is very good for my son as he usually washes his light and dark clothing together anyways.

The Shirt

I like to sew and I noticed that the seams are made to lay flat against the skin for added comfort. I also noticed the longer hem cut so the shirt shouldn't ride-up when working out. The fabric is made of 93% Viscose and 7% Spandex, which makes it feel light and airy – probably good for sweating I would imagine.

The Shorts

Check out the cool loop on the back of the shorts that you can put your towel or shirt through! Another great design feature is that they are double layered shorts with an inner compression layer and an outer shorts layer. The shorts have an inner compression smartphone pocket that can even fit large size phones, which is placed higher up on the hip to keep the phone in place, yet out of the way while bodybuilding. There are also pockets in the outer shorts in case you prefer to put your phone, earbuds, or other items there. The outer layer is 86% Polyester 14% Spandex, the inner layer is 91% Nylon 9% Spandex.

My Recommendation

As a mother, I think this product is perfect for any busy sports person, who needs something easy to care for, that will perform and feel comfortable. This should also prevent items from becoming lost with the pockets being designed so well to hold them and not get in the way of the workout. I highly recommend you give them a try.
