Have you ever pulled up to a friend’s house and instantly connected their personality with the aesthetic of the front of their home? Your cool, calm and collected friend may have a pale blue painted door, dainty flowers framing the entrance way and a relaxed set-up of decorations which instantly shows that they’ve put their own stamp on the property. You see, without even realizing, you may have molded and created an exterior that reflects your very own identity too.

When it comes to leveling up your home, you may want to take a look at the front of your home, and see how you can change it up so that it is more consistent with your persona. With this in mind, here are a handful of ideas to help you make the front of your home match with your very own personality.

Are You Bold and Outgoing?

If you consider yourself to be a bold, confident and outgoing person, you can create this type of aesthetic outside your home. You can have a lot of fun getting creative with bright colors and eye-catching designs that make your home exterior stand out. You may want to get a new front door in a bright shade to enhance the overall appeal of your homefront; with a choice of any style, size and color you can even customize it so that every detail is in keeping with your personality.

Are You Chic and Classy?

Keeping things simple, timeless and elegant is what you’re all about so this can certainly be echoed in the styling of the front of your home. With a heavy, oak wooden front door, simple milk churns with white flowers and understated decor, you can create a chic and classy exterior design with a few simple finishing touches.

Are You Wild and Free?

An archway bursting with bright, wild flowers, a mass of appealing greenery climbing up the front of your home and stand-out ornaments that may be slightly mis-matched in places will certainly reflect your carefree attitude to life when decorating the front of your home.

Are You Stylish and Unique?

You love to experiment with fashion, keep up with the latest trends, but always have your own spin on things. If this sounds like you, then a quirky and stylish outdoor space might be something you desire to create. If you’re lucky enough to have a small outdoor space outside the front of your home, you may want to add some stylish decorations to showcase your unique and contemporary style.

As you can see, there are so many different ways to showcase your personal identity via the exterior of your home. Every time you change one of the bedrooms in your home, you are likely to add your own spin on the interior design, so there is nothing different with the outside of your home too. Take a moment to consider all of the wonderful ways that your personality can shine through and the front of your home will soon showcase everything there is to know about you and your family!
