Yes, the key to having a more organized home is to declutter regularly. However, the next most important aspect is making sure you have a place where everything is stored so it can be returned there after use. The good news is that the many products discussed below can help you provide that place and keep your home as organized as possible, all year round.

Dish drying rack
Drying dishes strewn about the place instantly makes your home look less organised and less tidy. However, there is a solution to this that you can invest in. It's a dish drying rack, which allows you to stack your plates and cutlery neatly, maintaining that organised look even when the items are not put away into your kitsch cupboards.
A great option to consider here is a drying rack that spans across your sink, rather than sits by the side of it. The reason for this is that water drains off directly into the drain, meaning fewer surfaces to keep clean and shiny. In fact, some people have these installed as their main storage for their dishes, freeing up cupboard space for other items.
Saucepan rack
If you have ever experienced the hassle of finding a suitable place to keep your saucepans, you will know just how valuable a rack can be. After all, storing them on top of your cooker isn't tidy, and it uses up a lot of valuable space. Storing saucepans in a cupboard can be impractical too, as they use up a lot of room, and lids can easily get lost or mislaid.
That is why a saucepan rack is a great option. You can choose from one that hangs directly on a wall. Usually, these have hooks for pans to be hung in size order, while the top provides space for the lids to be stacked in a tidy manner.
Then there are the ceiling-mounted saucepan racks, which are often seen in larger or industrial kitchens. These tend to take the form of an oval or grid and allow pans to be attached to them with S hooks. Often, space for lids is provided on the mesh on top.
Shelf risers
One of the most effective ways to keep your home organized is to use shelf risers. These are like mini shelves that you can place into your cupboards or even use on open shelving to double the amount of usable space you have.
For example, most kitchen cupboards are quite tall, but only have two surfaces on which you can stack items like tins and packets. However, with a shelf riser on both surfaces, you can double the usable space and so keep things much more easily organised and tidy.
Shoe boxes
Another smart investment if an organisation is key is shoe boxes. These are boxes that can be stacked on top of one another and hold one single pair of shoes, usually placed toe to toe. The main benefits of using shoe organisers are that you can add a photo or a label on the front of the box, making sure that you know which pairs are located where at all times. Shoe boxes can also make storing shoes which are messy much better, as well as help to preserve the shoes and keep them dust-free and wear-free when not in use.
Kitchen basket/ cloth hanger
These are fairly new items in the organisational realm. In essence, they are a hanger that goes over a kitchen cupboard door. On the outside, the hanger links to a bar, which is perfect for keeping and drying used clothes. On the inside, there is a hanging basket which can be used to store anything you choose. The best option for this is to use that basket for dirty clothes that need to be washed. This is because the basket is open to the air, allowing these clothes to dry out and preventing mould and smell while they are waiting to be washed.
Custom cupboards
Investing in custom cabinets made by a specialist cabinet maker is also a good idea if you want to keep your home as organized as possible. The reason for this is that custom cabinets, unlike ones that are built to a standard design, make the best use of every inch of space in your home. This means you can store much more, and keep all your surfaces clean with little effort. Custom cabinets also look great, so they improve the look of your home and the value, as well as adding more space for organization.
Label maker
Essential when it comes to organizing your home is a label maker. You can choose from two types: manual or digital. A manual label maker is pretty fun as it uses a punch system and tape. All you need to do is use the alphabet wheel to select the letter you want and then pull the trigger.
However, the digital label makers that are now available are much faster and more convenient. They use sticky paper instead of tape, and you just need to write the word you want into the machine, select the options and print.
Once you have your labels, you can stick them on anything you like, from storage boxes to glass jars, helping you stay as organized as possible throughout the home.
Outside lock box
Last of all, once your home is properly organized, you’ll want to make sure that your outside space matches it. That is where an outside lockbox comes in. The main benefits of a lock box are that you can store items away, so they don’t clutter up your outside space, you’ll always know where they are, and they’ll stay out of the rain and wind, too. Additionally, these types of boxes can be locked with padlocks from the outside, meaning only you can access them. The good thing about this is that you can store higher-value items like mowers without having to worry about their security.
