The Best Minecraft YouTube Videos for Kids screenshot of a world in minecraft neededinthehome

There are many Minecraft YouTube videos out there.  How do you know which are safe for your kids to watch?  In my opinion, Minecraft is a great game for kids to play.  I like that it is fairly quiet and that the kids are learning so much.  They learn a little about coding, mining, and creating.  It's a win-win for all.  I know there are ways to play it that are not good, but if a parent monitors it, it can be a great thing.

I have seen my children create a library with books and a check out desk.  They have built castles and many other great things and made their own little virtual world.  We have “eye time” at our house so my children only get a certain amount of time per day based on their age.  Minecraft is one that they choose almost daily.

The Best Minecraft YouTube Videos for Kids

It is nice for my children to learn more about Minecraft and maybe how to do some new things they have not yet tried in Minecraft.  This is when we like to watch Minecraft You Tube videos.  Sadly, many You Tubers use profanity or teach things I do not approve of.  Then I write them on my “naughty” list and search for a different Minecraft YouTuber.  I want to save you the time and trouble and direct you to one I have found that I do approve of.  It has the best Minecraft YouTube videos your kids can watch.  In the videos that I have watched, there is no swearing or profanity, it is safe, and it is geared for kids.  I would say it is best for a good reader because the words are typed on the screen.

Will My Kids Like It?

Some may ask, “But is it entertaining enough for my kids to want to watch it?”  Yes!  This YouTuber is funny!  And he seems to change it up.  Some are Minecraft videos, some are tutorials, others are showcases.  There are many, many for your child to watch and new ones are added occasionally.  You need to subscribe so you can see the new ones right when they come out.

The name of this YouTuber is Smart Snake.

Please note: this is my own opinion. I am not sponsored or paid in any way by Minecraft, YouTube or Smart Snake to give my opinion on this. It's just me talking as a homeschool mom of kids who play Minecraft.

Here are some examples so you can check it out for yourself…
