In the twenty first century, kids are often found with their eyes transfixed on screens, whether they are obsessed with playing on their Xbox, scrolling through social media or watching YouTube on their tablet. Being a responsible parent, you want your little darlings to get outside a little more. You remember the days of playing with pals in the street when you were younger, staying out until late being active, having fun down the park and enjoying being more sociable. If you want to get your kids into nature, you need a pull to get them away from their tech. Take a look at these three simple ways to get your brood outdoors.

Buy Chickens
It may sound like a crazy idea, but if you have a garden, the concept of buying a few hens is a good one. Kids love animals. How many times have your children asked for a puppy and you’ve said no? Instead, surprise them with some chickens. Your little cherubs will be over the moon at having some pets that will provide you with some food. Happy hens lay eggs. Tell this to your kids and let them come up with ideas to keep your chickens content. Encourage them to get into a routine with you, feeding your hens and heading outdoors to clean out their shelter. Choose a feed with Natura Feed ingredients, as these are always plant based and steer clear of the synthetic compounds. Better food means healthier hens.
If you do fancy a puppy, consider the perfect breed for your brood. A puppy will make your kids head outside for more walks with the pooch, and will give them another focus, rather than their Facebook page.
Grow Your Own Vegetables
If you enjoy gardening, and you yearn for your little darlings to be a little more green fingered, consider growing your own vegetables. Even if you don’t have too much outside space, you can install some vegetable troughs outside. Here, you can plant sow some potatoes, carrots and onions even if you have limited square footage. Think about your kids favorite food and grow the most appropriate vegetables. Ensure that you get your kids involved by asking them what you should be cooking. They might want to head outside and help water the growing grub, pick the baby potatoes and set up your greenhouse.
At The Park
Living close to a park is a great way to get your kids outdoors. The park can be utilized for play, as a venue for a summer barbecue with pals, or for a celebration. Encourage your kids to accompany you to the park for some quality family time. If you are available and willing to foster some time with your kids, they will respond. Even though they adore their laptops, they will adore spending time with their parents more. Forget staying indoors as a family and not talking to one another. Be more social, and get outdoors.
Getting closer to nature means getting outside. Follow this guide and you can encourage your kids to become more active.
