Blogging

The first one that has exploded in previous years is blogging or vlogging. Becoming an online influencer is very lucrative indeed. It might be a slow start, so would be worth launching alongside your current day job, and then when you have found your style and some brands to collaborate with, look at what you need to earn to make this work. Be sensible and check out plenty of other influencers online to get a feel for it. Don't be fooled into thinking this is an easy option, it's hard work and takes dedication. Great fun though.

Investments

Learn how to make investments. CFD is a popular option, allowing you to intelligently make investments in shares, stocks, bonds, commodities, and treasuries. Firstly you'll need to learn a bit more about what is CFD trading and then get yourself trained up to make some tasty cash.

Build Websites

Learn to build websites. There will always be many startup companies, and already well-established companies that need to hire someone to create or recreate their site for them. You could take a course, or choose the internet and teach yourself to code, how to use the most common platforms, and then start offering your services out. Start small and simple and work up to something complicated. The beautiful thing about the internet is you can usually find excellent resources to help while you build your skills.

Content Writing

Content writing. Writing for a living might seem like you are living the dream. It differs from blogging because you will be writing for a variety of clients, you have to be well versed in many topics and put some research time into what you are producing. Your skills will be the ability to write any length of an article, on any subject, with perfect (or near perfect) spelling, grammar and hold a readers interest. You can set yourself up a profile on a few freelancer websites and apply for jobs. While you don't need to be qualified to write good content, you do need to be flexible on topics and try not to charge too low in the early days. Content writing can be a lucrative job when it's done well.

Graphic Designer

Graphic designer. If you have a good eye for color and layout, this one will likely suit you very well. It would be wise to check out some courses you can take to help teach your basics and have a look online for the best programmes to use – after that, the same as above, hit the internet and start offering out your services. There is a difference between a graphic designer and making beautiful images in online software – so be transparent with your clients.
