But they can get clogged with yucky stuff like creosote and soot. This buildup not only reduces the chimney's efficiency but can also pose a fire hazard.

Houseplants as Natural Air Purifiers

Houseplants add a touch of beauty to your house, and they can also help improve the indoor environment by working as air purifiers. Certain plants are specifically effective at removing common pollutants like benzene, formaldehyde, and trichloroethylene from the air.
