Freshen The Furniture

You’ve got two options here. You can get yourself a new suite, or you can literally freshen the furniture that you have. If you want to go with the first option, then the world is your oyster! The best thing you can do here is go with a sofa that’s going to match your decor of the room. If you go for a more neutral color, such as the coffee colors or the greys, it’s going to fit in so much better if you decide to change the decor in the future as well. If you want something extra fancy, go for a leather corner sofa, or try and get one that reclines. A reclining sofa is the definition of comfort in your own home. However, if you’re going to choose to deep clean your current sofa set, as it were, you need to be careful with what you’re doing. If you use the wrong product, you’re going to completely ruin your sofa. If you use the right product, you could turn it into the most beautiful set you’ve ever had. Freshen The Essentials

It’s easy enough for the essentials around your home to become a little dull and with a slight lack of life. We’re talking about the things such as your curtains and blinds, and possibly even things such as your bedding, pillows etc. Anything you can think of that’s essential accessory wise, you need to review. So, let’s start with the simple ones, such as the curtains or blind.

Once the curtains start to go downhill, it’s hard to get them back. So, your best option is to check out companies such as Deconovo to see what they have to offer. A new curtain can really set a room off, especially if it’s a curtain for the bedroom. As for things such as pillows, you just need to assess whether they need a good clean in the washing machine, or whether they need replacing altogether. If you want to try something alternative, you could always visit a second hand store, such as a charity or thrift shop, and see if they have anything in there that would suit your home. Just because you’re giving your home a refresh, it doesn’t mean you have to go all out and splash a lot of money on it.

Freshen The Colors

This is all about switching up your decor to give your home a full refresh. Every year or so the decor should need a little switch up, and it’s up to you with what colors you go for. You don’t even need to necessarily change all of the colors, you could just give your old set up a little bit of a refresh by going over it with some paint, or getting a similar colored wallpaper. Freshen The Exterior

You always need to keep the outside of your home in mind when thinking about refreshing the exterior of your home. It could be anything from power washing the drive so that it looks as good as new before you know it. Try doing something drastic in the garden that helps breathe a new bit of life into it. If you’re thinking about the garden, do something bold like adding in a decking area that you can nicely place a hot tub on. It’s extreme we know, but it would be so refreshing to be able to walk out into your own backyard, and have your own hot tub there! You could also have an attractive cooler to keep your beverages cool to freshen your exterior as well.
