I am so thankful that I have three daughters that they all have long hair for me to play with and that once in a while, they let me!  This is a product review of Lilla Rose hair accessories.

Product Review of Lilla Rose Hair Accessories

When we go to a special event, we like to get our long hair put up at a salon and wear quality, beautiful, hair accessories. We admire the hair accessory styles of the Lilla Rose brand so we are reviewing them so you can see what they are like. My Independent Stylist was Deb Wielhouwer from Love Leaving Legacy (#834699), whom I have met in person over 7 years ago and presently know through Facebook.  She was very helpful to me in our messages through Facebook and email.  I even noticed on Facebook that I was asking her business questions on her birthday and she was still very helpful and pleasant.  Personally, if it was my birthday, I may not have responded as I usually like to get out of the house and travel around away from the books, computer and sewing machine for a change in scenery. (I am a homeschooling homemaker, blogger, and Etsy shop owner.)

I loved that I did not have to wait for a flyer or catalog to come to my mailbox out by the road.  I just clicked on her website and was able to choose from there.  We liked the Flexi Clip style for our ideas of how we wanted to do our hair.  The girls didn't have any trouble choosing what they wanted.  They all chose something that reflects their personality and interests (flowers, horse, and dragon).  It's neat that you can even express yourself through your hair piece. I took the most time, but decided on a piece with some of my favorite color, teal, on it as it will match a lot of my wardrobe.

Sizing is a big concern for me.  I have daughters with thick hair, thin hair, curly hair, straight hair.  One size does not fit all hair styles, types, length, etc.  We may like a style where all of our hair will not go into the clip, for example.  Lilla Rose has a nice sizing chart, but I felt better having a Lilla Rose Independent Stylist help me.

My products arrived within four days from California to Wisconsin. I was very impressed. Cute purple packaging too.

This is what a Flexi Clip is like. My favorite part is that it is flexible, but the pin is attached so I don't have two separate pieces to keep track of in the house! My daughter, Mercedes says, “I like that I  don't feel the clip pulling on my hair.”

I received a free single geometric U-pin with my order, which is great for buns/twists. I chose the fox one in a black nickel color. It was a lot easier to use than I expected. This is how I look in it.

My Opinion

Deb lives in another state and I don't have a Lilla Rose stylist near me, but it would have been fun to have a party in my home or “style boutique”.  But from the brochure, it looks like you can host a party and earn free products, get discounts and receive exclusive pieces. Deb informed me that you can do a Style Boutique as a Facebook Event so it sounds like a person could earn free or discounted products that way to earn those great perks.

I couldn't find a suitable competitor. You want a quality hairpiece. I am just not sure if you would get this high of quality with an amazing return policy at a local discount store and would a jewelry store have hair accessories? Maybe, but do you want to pay that much? Le Chateu of Montreal is the closest in quality and price that I could find. They do not offer many choices and the clip is not flexible. The cost is $15 per clip, which is comparable to Lilla Rose.

I would say Lilla Rose is priced competitively, but is a better value due to the return policy, unique clips, opportunity to have a party in person or online and pay even less and lower priced shipping.

Summary of the Lilla Rose Return policy: Unused items can be returned for the purchase price refunded within 30 days. Exchanges within 90 days, Lilla Rose pays shipping. 90 days to 1 year for defective items can be exchanged at your own shipping expense.

Drawback:  Be aware that Flexi Clips are not nickel-free, if you have a nickel allergy.

I am pleased with the quality, look, and feel of my products and I do recommend them if you are looking for quality, affordable, guaranteed hair accessories.
