The season of fall is officially here, and boy are we excited. As much as we don’t like to think about it, it actually starts the run up to Christmas, which will be here sooner than you care to realize. But before that, we’ve got all of the great celebrations such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and generally just feeling as though we’re heading towards those cozy winter nights. Some of you might hate the fact that we’re losing the warmer weather, but it brings with it so much family fun and enjoyment. Now that summer is officially over, it’s time to think about a bit of fall magic that your home might be looking for. A Bit Of Fall Magic In Your Home

Warmth & Comfort

Warmth and comfort is exactly what you’re going to need. There’s nothing worse than coming back to a home that’s cold, a bit on the bright and loud side, and one that you feel you can’t snuggle up and get warm in. So, the first thing you can do will be to cozy up the living room. Get yourself some new fluffy pillows, and a beautiful soft throw for the sofa. It helps to bring in a bit of comfort and warmth that it might have been lacking for the summer. Fill the room with fall scented candles, and get a nice fluffy rug to go in front of the fire. As soon as people walk in they will instantly be reminded of comfort, which is exactly what you’re looking for! You could also think about getting a home automation system. Something a little out there we know, but it means that you could put the heating on before you even got home, meaning you’ll be walking into a nice toasty home, and you could jump right onto the sofa for an hour of relaxation in the warm!

A Different Decor Style

The decor has got to be changed to something a little more dark and interesting. We really like darker creams, grey's, or browns for a decor design. It oozes comfort, and makes it easier to put other decor features around it, such as the darker fluffy pillows and rugs that we’ve spoke about. You could add a painted antique white mason jar vase of orange or cream flowers. Or, you could add a splash of contemporary art to each room. It helps make a classy and sophisticated look that we’re loving. To help make it pop against the dark walls, you could use picture lights to illuminate the beautiful artwork that you’ve purchase. Other classy additions for fall include tall standing lamps, and chandelier lighting fixtures. Some chandelier lighting fixtures create a beautiful twinkle around the room which we love the idea of!

Family Nights In

Family nights in are essential when it comes to fall. It’s time for the nights to grow darker, and with your new snuggly decor and accessory ideas, you’ve got the perfect setup for film nights. A bit of fall magic isn’t all about what your home looks like, it’s about what you do when you’re inside of it!
