3 Great Dating Ideas In Edinburgh For Dog Lovers

Edinburgh singles, here are three ways to get to know another dog lover to see if they are a good fit for your life.  They are listed in order that you should try them on subsequent dates.  You may want to meet for several dates at one or another of them or rotate between the three.

Go on a walk together

This would be best for the first date. For one, if you are at all nervous about meeting a stranger on a date, you have your loyal friend and flatmate (your dog) with you to ease your nerves with dating in Edinburgh and possibly protect you.  Also, you can see what your dog thinks of this new person so you can get feedback by reading his/her body language.  What better way to get to know someone than by seeing them interact with their dog, as well as how they interact with your dog?  There are at least five different dog walking routes you could meet at if you want to change it up for the first five dates of getting to know someone.

Eat at a dog themed restaurant

When you feel that you know the person a little better and are ready to sit down and thoroughly quiz them on other topics, why not go with what you already agree on (being dog lovers) and meet at a dog themed restaurant? It is a place you are sure to feel your most comfortable and relaxed. Anything to help settle the nerves so you can be you and let your true self shine through has to be the best.

Shop together

So your dog likes this person, you like how he/she acts with their own dog, as well as yours.  You have quizzed this person at dinner.  Time to get him/her in a different element and go shopping together! You need to see how he/she acts with salespeople and the price of items. This will give you an idea if he/she spends money easily or is frugal. You can learn a lot about a person when shopping together.  Edinburgh dating is so much easier with your dog along.  So why not take your dogs with you on this shopping trip to a dog supply store? Will he/she throw all caution to the wind and spend a lot of money when it comes to his/her dog? What a fun way to find out!

Don't you feel more relaxed already, about meeting someone new, now that you know you can bring along your best friend? If you love and have tried these ideas and your dog has decided this is not the right person for you, that's okay.  You can find the next person to have your dog meet at free dating websites online.

Great post! I have a friend who took her dog to meet someone for a first date once – the guy was a little nervous because her dog was a big, black Alsatian X, but it gave my friend a bit of security and a great excuse to leave when the date didn’t go so well 😉
