The first option is to purchase baby cards from a local store or supermarket. While this may be convenient, it lacks a bit of imagination, as you are going to be extremely limited in your selection. You won’t be able to personalize the cards and it is highly likely that you will be using the same cards as someone else you know has before you. 

The second option is to design your own. Do you have the time? If so, great! But most new mothers, or mums-to-be, simply don’t have the time on their hands for such an activity. 

One of the better options is to find an online printing company that has ready-made templates for you to use. This means you will benefit from your own bespoke invitation or thank you card, as you can easily tweak the design to suit your requirements and taste. Nevertheless, you don’t have all of the hassle that is associated with putting your own design together. It is the perfection solution! There are lots of other great online resources as well, including word scrambler games for activities at your baby shower. After all, you will need plenty of games to keep everyone entertained! 

Of course, the other option would be to pay for someone to design the cards for you, but this will set you back a considerable chunk of money.

Baby Shower Thank You Cards

A simple thank you card is something that a lot of people overlook, but it is something that the recipient will greatly appreciate. You should not view this task as a chore, but a wonderful opportunity to reminisce on your baby shower and thank those that made the effort to come. The best way to begin the process of writing these cards is to make a list of everyone that came to your baby shower, and alongside their name write the gift they purchased. This will ensure you don’t miss anything out. When you write the thank you card, make sure to mention the gift and how thoughtful it was. You can also say how you look forward to using it, if applicable. This shows that you have noticed and appreciated the effort the guest went to. 

You also need to be personal. Address each person by name and add personal touches. If you send out a generic message to everyone, it will be obvious, and this shows a distinct lack of effort. You don’t need to be formal when writing a thank you card. After all, these are people that you know. Finally, if you’re feeling particularly creative, you may want to incorporate a quote or some poetry that inspires you.
