As parents of eight kids, my husband and I wanted to have a bedroom decorated in a way that feels like a getaway or a vacation. So, we painted our bedroom blue and started the search for ocean-side canvas prints. We just ordered three large canvas prints from Photowall.

Photowall is really famous for their photo walls, where you have a photograph cover a whole wall, like in this example…
They also make and ship canvas prints and posters.
My husband and I have been married since 1996, and we have a lot in common. We both prefer the canvas prints on our walls, rather than wallpaper, and we knew we wanted an ocean beach scene. Wanting to have a “romantic feel” to it, we searched for a picture that had two relaxing chairs that we could “getaway” to in our imaginations. We found this one to put on the wall behind our bed.
When you order canvas prints on Photowall, you choose the size and whether you want it to be landscape, portrait or square format. When you hit the “Show Canvas Print and Price” button, it allows you to crop your motif. You can click and drag to the part you want to keep.
We decided to break up the scene above by making two large pictures out of it to hang above our king size bed. We wanted the chairs and trees with some ocean on the left and all ocean on the right. I know it's hard to imagine that by looking at the photo above because that canvas was cropped from a larger picture on their website so the one above is essentially what we will have on the left.
For our wall next to our bedroom window, we chose a different ocean scene with some palm trees, beach and ocean to complement the other two. I look forward to receiving them and hanging them up in our bedroom. I hope you will take a look at Photowall.com. There are so many different designs to choose from. You can even use your own photographs!
