Let’s face it: most people wouldn’t say no to the prospect of getting money for free. The thing is many opportunities that get presented to receive money for free usually involve getting scammed in some way.
But what if there were legitimate ways to get free money? Plus, what if it was also possible to get cash for free by using your smartphone? It turns out there are some ways to achieve the goal of generating a passive income by only giving up a few minutes of your time.

If you’ve got a few minutes to spare each day, you could use that time to earn some cash by answering a few simple surveys. Many companies are keen to gauge potential customers’ opinions, so they commission surveys to learn more about what interests those people.
One of the best-known companies that offer surveys is Google. However, there are other survey companies out there that do the same thing. Be sure to read online reviews of other survey firms before signing up with anyone.
Prize-Linked Savings
It makes sense to put all the extra money you earn through simple app-based activities into savings accounts. That way, you can grow your earnings until you eventually end up with a substantial amount of cash.
You already know that savings accounts offer “free money” through the interest paid on your money stored. But, what you might not know is you could use a prize-linked savings app to grow your savings even more!
In a nutshell, such savings accounts enter you into competitions based on how much you’ve saved. The prize is, of course, a cash one, and you don’t need to pay to enter. Winning a cash prize by simply saving money is an excellent bonus, don’t you think?
Shopping Cashback
It doesn’t matter whether you only buy groceries and the bare essentials or spend a lot of money each month on various things from designer clothes to upmarket home furniture. Whatever you buy, keep in mind that it’s possible to get cashback on your purchases.
If you spend a lot of time making purchases on your smartphone, using a shopping cashback app makes sense. All you need to do is use the app, tap through to your desired retailer, and make your purchase as usual.
The cashback app tracks your purchases, and you’ll get rewarded with cash back on every successfully verified transaction.
Video Ads
One final idea is to use an app that pays you each time you watch a video ad. The thing about video advertising is that most people watch at least one example of it every day. With that in mind, it makes sense to get paid for being made to watch them!
One of the top examples for getting paid to watch video ads was Slidejoy. However, there are several other alternatives, depending on where you live in the world.
