Add more glass to your home

Glass features are a great way to open up space in the home and make it appear larger. Adding glass tables, decorative features, and stair panels are cost-effective ways of making the interior feel more modern and luxurious.

Glasscrafters can help you create your dream interior feature from doors and cabinets to architectural structures. Using companies that use high-quality materials will ensure to take your home from basic to luxury in no time.

Change the door and cabinet handles

Some hardwearing upgrades do not have to cost a fortune. Simply changing door and cabinet handles will upgrade the overall look of the feature and make it look more expensive.

For instance, you may have left the original silver hardware on and it has become rusty over time. You could upgrade these to a more luxury-looking metal, or even wood, to upgrade the aesthetic and take the doors and cabinets from basic to luxury.

Feature walls

Feature walls are a great way to upgrade the look of any room. These can be to display photos, art, or a block of color.

Whether or not you like minimal interiors, it can make a room look more expensive and modern if you only have one wall filled with color and design. The other walls can be neutral so that they easily match the design and colors you choose.

Update the lights

The light fixtures can say a lot about a room and a home. If they are old and neglected, it will show. Updating them can be easy and cheap.

You could leave them bare for the industrial, modern, and edgy vibe. Or you could choose more luxury materials to enhance the appearance of the room. These could main the main feature if you have minimal colors throughout the home. Thus, you could opt for something big and bold or colorful to make them stand out.

Open up the windows

Covering the windows can hinder the natural light that enters the home. Not only can light open up space and make it appear bigger, but it can improve your mood while at home.

Making spaces appear bigger is bound to make them appear more luxurious. You may find that your home feels more enjoyable to live in when more light enters each room.

You do not have to eliminate the use of blinds or curtains. But, opt for minimal and neutral designs. These will allow the most out of light through and add to the brightness of the home.

To save more money, you could take down the window coverings. This means you won’t need to replace them and spend money on new features.
