It seems that there are a limitless amount of uses for lime essential oil. Lime is a very low priced essential oil that every household should have on hand. In this article, I will mention some uses that you may want to consider using in your home.

Lime Vitality Essential Oil & Coconut Popcorn

If you’re craving a sweet and savory snack while sticking to your health goals, try this easy, tasty snack! Lime Vitality™ essential oil and coconut popcorn gives a citrus twist to a simple snack. Check out how to make this simple recipe on YouTube:

 

Vitamin C Supplement

Dilute 1 drop Lime Vitality™ essential oil with 1 drop of liquid coconut oil. Take up to 3 times daily.

 

Room Air Freshener Oil Recipe

20 drops Lavender

10 drops Lemon

6 drops Bergamot

5 drops Lime

5 drops Grapefruit

1 cup distilled water

Put these in a glass or amber spray bottle, shake well before spraying.

Lime Oil In a Diffuser

Add 10 drops Lime essential oil to your diffuser and use for 15 minutes a day. This may help with the following:

concentration

depression

fatigue

flu

insomnia

postpartum depression

 

Lime Laundry Freshener

Add 2 drops Lime essential oil to a wet cloth and put in the clothes dryer with your clothes.

 

Heartburn Help from Lime Essential Oil

Add 2 drops of Lime Vitality™ essential oil in a Tablespoon of milk, juice or water. Take up to four times daily.

Lime Face Wash

In face washes, diluted Lime Essential Oil can act as a tightening and toning astringent that reduces the amount of oil production. I just add 3 drops to 8 ounces of witch hazel. I keep this stored in a labeled mason jar with a lid. Then I use a cotton round face wipe that I wet with the solution and wipe it on my face.

 

Shampoo Boost

Add 3 drops of the diluted Lime Essential Oil to your shampoo (12 ounce bottle), massage into your scalp and wash off as usual. This reduces the amount of oil production and leaves your scalp feeling clean and fresh.
