Now you can free yourself from wire chaos and keep your desk or charging station tidy and organized with these [amazon_textlink asin='B00NVKHLP8′ text='cable clip organizers' template='ProductLink' store='neededintheho-20′ marketplace='US' link_id='29288307-0392-11e9-9226-49a6833846c3′]. It is basically a little rubbery round piece that you stick onto a surface and then your cord can hang from it. What is nice about it is that your cords are no longer hanging where you can't reach them, the end of your cord is now right in that little clip. You get six cord organizers per pack.

How I Used It

I presently have seven children (with one on the way) and four of them are over the age of 13 with electronic devices to charge. Three of them have smartphones to charge as well. You can imagine the “cord chaos” we have at my house! I will show you the main floor charging station where we charge the iPad for homeschool use and two smartphones.

Before the Cable Clip Organizer

Here is our main floor charging station, which is on top of my homeschool cupboard. See all the cords hanging down? You have to follow the cord to the end and find the right one for your device. There are three different cords here. One charges the iPod, one charges an older smartphone and one charges the newest smartphone.  We don't want to grab the wrong one, but we often do! What a time waster!

After the Cable Clip Organizer

It really was simple to use. I just peeled the white paper off the back and stuck the organizer where I wanted it. I was not as careful as I could have been. I could have measured so they were placed perfectly in line, but I did not.

I had a hard time deciding how I wanted them. It would probably look best behind the cupboard, but would not be practical for use. My seven year old often gets the iPad for me to use for homeschool. When we are done, she puts it back and hooks it up to the charger. I don't want her to have to try and dig behind the cupboard, she would probably need a chair and that may take more time. When I charge my own smartphone, I would hate to have to pull up each cord behind the cupboard to see which one to use as well.

I decided to keep them on the side of the cupboard, but I strategically planned which cord would go in which cable clip organizer so we will always know which one is on the left, middle or right.

Now the old smartphone cord is on the left, the new smartphone cord is in the middle and the iPad cord is on the right.

Our Opinion

My seventeen year old son thinks they are “cool”. My nineteen year old daughter was thrilled to find the cord she needed so easily and commented that it saved her time. The other members of my family seem to enjoy theirs, though they haven't been very vocal about it.

I especially like the one I placed on my nightstand by my bed. In the past, I would have to put the cord under my alarm clock to keep it from falling down. The kids often lay on my bed to read during the day as it is quiet and “away from the toddler”. If they want to know what time it is, they have to turn the clock towards them. I have it facing away when I sleep as the “green numbers glowing” bugs me. When they do that, they drop the cord, then I have to bend down (not easy at 6 months pregnant) and find the cord on the floor near the outlet to plug in my phone. Now the cord is on the side of my nightstand where I can always find it and not have to bend down!

I feel like this is wonderful to save me time and energy and I highly recommend it and think you will enjoy it too!
